Your RoleQualifications

Your Role

  - Perform customs data entries. 
  - To develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to customs brokers, government agencies, trade compliance associations and customers.
  - To ensure accuracy of customs declaration form(s) submission and complete related activities as required by the government, facilitating timely clearance of all shipments. 
  - To monitor performance of customs-related suppliers and end-to-end customs activities, including but not limited to checking of documents, entering data in relevant systems, inspections of goods, clearance and third-party documents. 
  - To arrange for product re-classification with customs ruling department if required.
  - To oversee loading and unloading activities, escalate any defects to relevant parties and follow up with necessary surveys. 
  - To create standard operating procedures, identify business risks and provide trainings whenever required. 

  - To attend to customs examinations and ensure relevant certifications are valid. 

Qualifications

  - Over 3 years experience as Customs Clearance Officer.

  - Details oriented.
  - English writing skills (Email).
  - Experience in global freight forwarder is preferred.
  - Experience in Sea Logistics Import is a plus.

  - This is long term contract based position with full benefits.
